To empower local agricultural workers and strengthen and expand the mushroom industry in the Philippines, the Bureau of Plant Industry-Crop Research and Production Support Division (BPI-CRPSD) delivered a comprehensive Mushroom Cultivation Technology training last March 13, 2025, in Purok 7, San Bartolome, Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

This training, specifically requested by Panorama Farm/Stair Coffee Farm, was expertly facilitated by Ms. Hazel Joy Pacis, providing participants with practical, step-by-step guidance on modern mushroom cultivation techniques and scientific best practices.

This initiative aims to establish a robust new stakeholder in the mushroom sector, contributing to the industry’s growth and sustainability.
