The DA-Bureau of Plant Industry (DA-BPI), through its Crop Research and Production Support Division (CRPSD), conducted a Plant Nursery Establishment and Accreditation Seminar today, February 12, 2025, at their Nursery Area in Malate, Manila.
Over 30 participants from various regions attended the seminar, receiving both seeds and certificates of participation. The program included presentations on “Requirements on Establish Nursery and Plant Propagation” by Noli Garcia, “Mahalaabh Fertilizer” by Noeleen Arellano, and an “Asexual and Sexual Propagation Demonstration” by Clyde Mark Domingo.
The seminar is expected to contribute to improved nursery practices, better quality and availability of high-quality planting materials, and increased economic opportunities for the attendees.
