On November 14, 2024, the Department of Agriculture – National Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture Program (DA-NUPAP), in partnership with the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA), held an orientation and training for the RSBSA App in NCR.

The event provided a comprehensive overview of the RSBSA system, enhancing understanding of its registration process and requirements while sharing best practices for system utilization. It also aimed to foster collaboration among stakeholders to improve data collection and resource allocation for agricultural initiatives.

Looking ahead to 2025, DA-NUPAP plans to implement the RSBSA in NCR and launch an RSBSA Caravan in partnership with local government units and farmers to raise awareness and further strengthen the agricultural sector.
