The Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Plant Industry (DA-BPI) officials and personnel attended the Entrance Conference for CY 2024 with the Commission on Audit (COA) at the Directors Office Conference Room in Malate, Manila on October 30, 2024.

The COA team, led by Supervising Auditor Ms. Maribel D. Dela Rosa, outlined the scope of the audit to be conducted. This included an audit of various accounts and transactions, compliance with existing and new laws and regulations, evaluation of program projects and activities, climate change expenditure tagging (CCET), earmarked funds, program funds, and others.

The COA team included Audit Team Leader Ms. Donna May Namoc, Audit Team Member Ms. Agrifina Gasmen, and the new COA members assigned to BPI: Officer-in-Charge Supervising Auditor Atty. Joven Macasinag and Audit Team Leader Ms. Joy Lagac.

The CY 2024 COA Entrance Conference presented updates on financial management and operations while reinforcing its commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
