The event began with a clean-up drive, during which employees worked hand in hand to clean various areas of the BPI grounds, including the gardens, creek, and drainage canals, demonstrating their shared commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workplace.

This was followed by the Blessing and Inauguration of the Newly Improved BPI Multipurpose Hall, a facility that will serve as a venue for important gatherings, Bureau programs, celebrations of milestones, and other significant activities. The newly improved hall reflects BPI’s continued progress and its commitment to providing a better working environment for its employees.

As part of the celebration, a ceremonial basketball game was also held inside the BPI Multipurpose Hall, symbolizing unity, teamwork, and camaraderie among employees.

In his message, BPI Director Gerald Glenn F. Panganiban, Ph.D., expressed his gratitude for the dedication and cooperation of every employee. He emphasized that the Bureau’s new facilities and continuous improvements are intended for the benefit of everyone.

“Thank you very much to all of you. This is for all of us. I am here to lead, but the work you do and the efforts you make every day are also for yourselves and for our stakeholders.”

Through collective action and a shared purpose, BPI continues to strengthen its culture of bayanihan while fostering an environment that values every employee in pursuit of better service to the country’s agricultural sector.
