The Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Plant Industry (DA-BPI), through its Crop Research and Production Support Division (CRPSD), conducted a free face-to-face seminar on Urban Gardening and Plant Propagation on June 23, 2026, at the CRPSD Training Room, San Andres St., Malate, Manila.

More than 30 participants, including students from Bulacan and agricultural enthusiasts from Naga, Rizal, Valenzuela, and nearby areas, joined the training.

Clyde Domingo led the discussions on Urban Gardening, Indigenous Vegetables, and Plant Propagation, while Rolando Villa shared his expertise through demonstrations of various plant propagation techniques.

The seminar aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to strengthen food security, improve access to fresh produce, and support agricultural development.
