Malate, Manila – The Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Plant Industry (DA-BPI), through its Crop Research and Production Support Division (CRPSD), led an Urban Gardening and Plant Propagation Seminar on February 26, 2026, at the CRPSD Training Room. Participants gathered to learn from BPI experts about practical ways to grow fresh and healthy food, even in small city spaces.

The seminar aimed to equip participants with the skills needed to support food security and foster self-sufficient communities with access to fresh produce and quality planting materials. It also promotes sustainable gardening practices and encourages active community involvement in urban agriculture.
