The Bureau of Plant Industry – National Organic Agriculture Program (BPI–NOAP) participated in the OA Champions’ Run: A Run for Organic Agriculture on November 30, 2025, at the UP Diliman College of Science Amphitheatre, an event designed as a campaign to highlight the significance of organic farming and promote sustainable food production practices in the Philippines.
More than just a fun run, this campaign sought to bring Filipinos closer to organic agriculture by increasing awareness of its impact and encouraging more sustainable food systems.
Continuing its advocacy, BPI distributed organic seeds and seedlings to attendees and the public, encouraging individuals to start organic gardens and support organic agriculture. This initiative enabled Filipinos to learn firsthand about the benefits of organic cultivation, including healthier harvests and a safer environment.
With ongoing involvement in such initiatives, BPI–NOAP continues to fulfill its mandate to promote organic agriculture and quality planting materials. Their role supported event implementation and raised awareness of sustainable crop production.
