The laboratory facility was established to enable the mass production and field deployment of Biological Control Agents (BCAs) in support of sustainable Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs for onion and other high-value crops. The event was attended by Ms. Carol P. Albay, HVCDP Operations Head and Regional Focal Person for Region II; Ms. Laarni Mary S. Roxas, Regional Manager of Plant Quarantine Services, Pampanga; Engr. Remigio C. Tabil, Assistant Division Chief of the Bureau of Plant Industry–Crop Pest Management Division; Ms. Jovita B. Agliam, Ph.D, ABE, the Acting Provincial Agriculturist of Nueva Ecija; Municipal Mayor Hon. Ricardo I. Padilla; Vice Mayor Hon. Christian P. Binuya of Bongabon; Ms. Jackielou Gallarde, Municipal Agriculturist of Bongabon; representatives from RCPC III led by Ms. Marietta D.L. Agregado; and the BPI-CPMD Biocon and IPM Section headed by Ms. Russ-Uzi Mayenne A. Ebora, along with farmers’ association representatives and local farmers of Bongabon, Nueva Ecija.
