The orientation and pilot testing of the One-Stop Industry Revitalization and Information System (OSIRIS) were conducted on November 20, 2025, at the Golden City Conference Room in Bocaue, Bulacan, to support the rollout of a weekly self-monitoring report for Rice Food Business Operators. The activity was attended by eighty-nine (89) Food Business Operators (FBOs), including importers, millers, and traders from Golden City and Intercity, as well as from the Philippine Rice Importers Association (PRIA). Their participation is expected to strengthen coordination and improve data accuracy in the monitoring of rice stocks and movements nationwide.
This activity forms part of the implementation efforts aligned with RA 12022, “Anti-Agricultural Economic Sabotage Act” and RA 12078, which amends the “Agricultural Tariffication Act”, both of which strengthen regulatory oversight and ensure compliance across the rice value chain.
This session introduced participants to the OSIRIS system’s features, reporting workflow, and verification processes. It also provided an opportunity to address initial concerns and gather feedback for system refinement prior to full deployment.
