The Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Plant Industry (DA-BPI) conducted the Seed Component Meeting cum Workshop on October 21–24, 2025, in Davao City. The event was attended by 75 representatives from the BPI Central Office, BPI–National Seed Quality Control Services, and DA Regional Seed Coordinators to review implementation updates, streamline certification and accreditation processes, and strengthen quality assurance systems for seeds and planting materials nationwide.

Through collaborative discussions and planning sessions, the participants reaffirmed BPI’s commitment to ensuring the availability of high-quality and certified planting materials for a more productive and sustainable agricultural sector.
