Complementing this, Turbulent Greenhouse showcased advanced greenhouse automation systems—integrating climate control, irrigation, nutrient dosing, and hydroponics. These technologies not only modernize farming but also present opportunities to attract youth engagement and potential investors into urban agriculture.

Session 3 highlighted Future-Proofing Urban Agriculture Through Youth Development. The future of farming lies in empowering the next generation. Content Creator Buddy Gancenia, behind the popular YouTube channel “Agribusiness How It Works” with over 1.25 million subscribers, shared how digital platforms can transform agriculture. He emphasized that social media provides farmers with powerful tools to promote their products, build audiences, connect with markets, and inspire the youth through consistent and creative content across platforms.

At the same time, DENSO Philippines addressed the challenge of an aging farming population by combining smart farming technologies with experiential, youth-centered training, making agriculture attractive, innovative, and viable for young people.
