The Bureau of Plant Industry – Crop Research and Production Support Division (BPI-CRPSD) actively participated in the celebration of “Food at Nutrition Security Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain Karapatan Natin!” held on July 7, 2025, at the Philippine Orthopedic Center in Quezon City.

As part of the activity, BPI-CRPSD distributed various vegetable seeds and seedlings to patients, staff, and community members to promote household gardening and ensure access to safe, fresh, and nutritious food.

This initiative reflects BPI’s continued support for government programs on food sufficiency and highlights its advocacy for urban and backyard gardening as a means to empower communities through sustainable food production.
