The Department of Agriculture – National Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture Program (DA-NUPAP) took part in the International Day of Families 2025 celebration led by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on May 15 at Park Inn by Radisson North Edsa, Quezon City.

In line with the theme “Polisiyang Makapamilya Tungo sa Higit na Matatag, Maginhawa, at Panatag na Pamilyang Pilipino,” NUPAP distributed free vegetable seeds, seedlings, and information materials to encourage families to start their own home and community gardens promoting food security, wellness, and resilience right where they live.
