On March 24-28, 2028, a team of Food Safety Officers and Food Safety Inspectors from the Bureau of Plant Industry – Plant Product Safety Services Division Food Safety Operations Unit – Baguio (BPI-PPSSD) Baguio conducted an inspection and monitoring activity in the provinces of Cagayan and Isabela.
The objective of the activity was to assess compliance with BPI Administrative Circular No. 1 (BPI AC 1) and BPI Administrative Circular No. 2 (BPI AC 2), which set food safety standards for processing, storage, transport, and distribution facilities.
